Here is an article from Treehugger I read a few weeks ago. It brings up some interesting points that I've been chewing on for a while. What are your thoughts? Do the benefits outweigh of the harm?

I think we need to scrap the idea of looking for "rights" "ethics" and "morals" as something imbedded in nature, or mandated to us by some old man in the sky. We create these conceptions of ethics, rights, and morals.
